A Date With Judy

Lunenburg High School invites you to have A DATE WITH JUDY! Based on the popular NBC radio show of the 1940s, writer/creator Aleen Leslie brings her lovable characters to the stage in a heart-warming comedy for a “positively social” evening of the highest highs and the lowest lows. Sixteen-year-old Judy is “simply determined to beat Tootsie Whiteman” in a race to fund raise for Community Relief. Naturally, the stakes are dramatically high as the winner will be crowned Queen at the school dance! As Judy and her friends hatch a series of ill-fated schemes to win money, her parents and a host of  other unsuspecting adults are helplessly placed in one humiliating predicament after another. To further complicate matters, time is running out for Judy to decide whether or not she will accept an offer by Oogie Pringle to escort her to the dance. A DATE WITH JUDY stars Sophie Shapiro as Judy and Nicholas Rowley as her kid-brother, Randolph. Be sure to keep your date with Judy on December 4th and 5th at 7pm. Tickets are $7 for students and seniors and $10 for adults. Doors open at 6:30. A free matinee for senior citizens will be performed on Thursday, December 3rd at 3pm.

Have a great Thanksgiving break!
